The Head boy of masroor senior secondary school Abdoulie Jobe issue on three years jotna affecting the education system.
He noted that Gambians are not used to such violence, it will obviously affect them especially the grade 12s who should be sitting to WASCE exams this year. Gambia is not the only country doing the WASCE Examination said by Abdoulie Jobe. He further said that youth are the back bone of every developed country and education is the only way to make someone to think wisely and contribute to the development of the country
‘’ Am urging all the political parties to come together and settle this issue without any means of violence for the betterment of the country’’ Abdoulie Jobe said . Gambia is known for peace so let the political parties just wait for 5 years as the constitution say. Yaya Bah A teacher also said that this 3 years issue is something he is thinking of because the syllabus are not completed and if this 3 years demonstration take place students wont come to school and the grade 12 exams is just at the corner and that can make many students to fail, every school is working hard to get good grades so if this happen it will be a problem for them and the students.
